Whether you're seeking insurance coverage, selling your vehicle or donating your car, truck or motorcycle to charity, it is important to obtain an accredited appraisal stating the value of your vehicle. This becomes even more critical when the vehicle in question is a classic, has been modified from factory specs or is of a unique origin.

Blue Book values are very generic and only go back a few years -- improvements and modifications are not considered. Insurance Adjusters are more likely to "total" a car with minor damage that is more than five years old and settle for the "salvage value." It is important to obtain an accredited auto appraisal to protect your investment.

Pre-sale appraisals and inspections of vehicles protect you from buying a lemon or paying too much for the vehicle being offered. This becomes more important when the purchase is being transacted over a long distance. It might look good in pictures, but is the title salvaged? Do all the lights work? Does it drive straight? Is the vehicle really the car the current owner says it is?
